Does Anyone Care Who Wins WWE Matches ?
You know, I have been watching WWF/E since 1996 and saw pretty much all of the Attitude Era ( IMO the best the WWE evr was) and I dont know if it was because I was younger but I actually wanted Rock to beat Stone Cold, I actually got angry when Vince turned on him at X7........Now I sit and watch the matches and even if the guy I want to win does win its a total anti climax, the feuds today are pointless and either short lived and fairly predictable or go on for 45 years like John Cenas title run. SO my question is do any of the folk who watched wwe from 96 to 2004 even still get the emotion or kick out of watching the matches ?
Yes, but not as much. I like watching the WWE. But Randy Orton will never be on the same level as the rock, just like John Cena will never be on the level as Stone Cold Steve Austin.
I think the ERA from 98-02 was the best era in the history of wrestling entertainment. We witnessed the best feuds and wrestlers in history i.e. the rock, stone cold, hhh, the big show, goldberg, bret hart, shawn michaels in his prime, kane, undertaker, ric flair..
Today wrestling is too boring. It's the same matches and feuds over and over, and is by far too predictable.
