How Much Funds Do I Need To Go For Credit Card Debt Settlement?
There is no way to say this kindly: collection agencies hired by credit companies to get payment on a debt are ruthless. They don't care if you can't pay rent or mortgage, nor do they care if you have enough food to eat to survive.
All they care about is getting money on behalf of creditors so that they can earn their commissions. In fact, many people out of prison, unable to get a regular job because of their records, are hired by these companies. If it were not for some legal restrictions in place, they would call you all day long to remind you how much you owe and insinuate that you're a terrible person for not sending them the funds immediately.

One thing that many people are not sure about is how much they need in funds for a Credit Card Debt Settlement negotiation to work.
While every case is different, on average, many credit companies will agree to a reduction in your total amount of about 60 percent. It's possible to get them to take off even more, but this is a lot more difficult.
While you don't have to have all the funds, you do have to have some funds, usually 40 percent of what you owe. It is preferable to have this money in a lump sum for the negotiation to be successful. You can't offer the money on an installment basis.
Once you pay this amount, you will be done with that credit company, and they will not be able to legally continue to harass you. The important thing is to get the debt settlement done on paper, rather than simply through a verbal agreement.
