Has anyone noticed that County Music is getting really Bad in general?
I live in Dallas Texas, and know good country music, and I have not heard anything new in a very long time. Whatever happen to some good old fashion twin fiddles, to some good swing?
Of the four channels, most play really cheesy sounding country music. I can only handle it for a few minutes, and then I have to leave it. Anything that remotely sounds like Keith Urban is just like the most gay of country music, and I have nothing against gays, I just don't like my country music sung in a girly style. Least of course it's sung by a girl.
Then there is all this rock-a-belly country music, white trash with a guitar. This seems to account for the other half.
Where is George Strait, the one I remember from the 1980's and 1990's? What happen to Alan Jackson? Garth Brooks? Alabama? Ronnie Milsap? Clint Black? Anyone with just a little bit of style?
It seems it's some folky gay song, or some song waiting to be the next Ford Truck tv commercial...
I agree with You. Seems like Country Music is turning into the old Rock Music.
Of course I am old too (67) so I was around when there was Good Country Music.
